Apparently there's a world shortage of fig rolls    I now really want one (or a few :p ).

Anyone have a recipe?

Not just fig rolls....the shortage is of figs, due to the severe weather last summer, and it's expected to continue till next year

I wanted to buy some fresh figs in Tesco the other day (for baking with honey & serving with mascarpone - yum!) but they didn't have any :(

This was on the radio about a week or so ago. If there's a shortage - where will you get the figs??!

I guess you could still buy dried figs...in the baking aisle?

I have a packet I keep moving out of the way to get to the baking powder! They've been there for a few months as I started trying to get more non-dairy calcium into my diet but then decided I didn't like them that much in my porridge :p
