My nephew wants one of these but I can only find 40gb ones for sale on the net. Is there anywhere selling them?

Pete, unless you are streaming media, you don't need the 60gb. You can upgrade the drive to a bigger one if need be.
Summary of the differences

Main thing would be playing the ps2 games - think only the 60gb version did this but worth checking. think you can upgrade the HD or plug in an external drive into the USB drive like this one for £35 - bargin!

go for anything bigger than an 80gb external and it needs its own power supply.0 -
They don't make them anymore.
If you have a local CeX shop I think that is your best bet.

Apart from that you wont be able to buy one new as they don't make them anymore.
Once you rnephew has played on PS3 standard games, he will never go back to PS2 I assure you."I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
hi,
somewhere on here there is a link to the choice website (try google if you cant find it), they have 60gb in stock for £394...no idea how but thats what the site says!! apart from that you could look at games shops from preowned and you will still get warrenty. Personally i dont have a problem with ebay but for something of this value i would be very careful on there!!
The 60gb is the one to go for if you can get it, extra usbs, card reader and the ability to play ps2 games which is great if she has younger kids!!

If it's really the 60Gb one you want, there are plenty on ebay.
That's probably the only place you will get them as they have stopped making them.0 -
