    £2.20 on Park n Ride ticket - I don't mind as I won't be paying it after 28th ! Woo Hoo! (£40 a month saving! :j)
£5 on Lotto (don't play it often but won £5 last week so got my money back!)

EDIT: Plus 70p on a can of pop

Should be it unless I need another can of Diet Coke (got one with me!) or any food at lunch (technically already have it!)

Whats the paper with the free DVD - and which DVD is it?

Good morning kkw, and everybody :hello: :hello: :hello:

Had a 'lie-in' this morning :naughty::naughty: as I did a 'split double shift' yesterday.
Not yet sure if I will spend anything today, but a 'haircut' is very much needed, as I have a very serious job interview next Tuesday, so could be as much as £6.00.

It is a miserable, cold, grey morning here and difficult to sum up the enthusiasm to go out, though. So far, I'm not working today, so 'may' end up having a 'lazy' day at home.

    Have a great day, everyone.

  • Sorry skintcat - have only just got back on here, it's only Alan Partridge DVDs you have to redeem the coupon in Somerfield, which is handy for me as I have one 5 mins up the road.
Have to say went in to Somerfield & spent £25 from food budget, mostly on packed lunch things, but they did have quite a few offers on for things I use Cathedral City cheese was £1.85 I think, they're copying Tescos with Bacon, dearer, but £1 a pack,Friji milkshake bogof, chicken korma & rice ready meal £1.30ish ( for when I'm feeling lazy ) Dairylea dunkers, bogoff, ok for Sons lunchbox.
Also spent £4.99 delivered on a chocolate fountain saw it on the grabbit board, from Freemans, will put it by for my Daughters birthday, I can justify £5 but not £20 for something that will soon sit in a cupboard unused!
    sorry to waffle:rolleyes:

Well - my 'lazy day' did not materialise.

Ended up going to do the weekly shop in ASDA with my wife - that came to £38.00, but that is out of our budget. Then went to Wilkinsons' in search of these 'elusive' broken biscuits - couldn't find any, but we did spend £8.40 on 'bogof' shower gel, shampoo, fairy liquid and some seeds for the garden - not budgeted, but not too bad.

Also spent £7.00 on a haircut   - didn't notice that his prices had gone up since my last visit, until after he had finished   . Couldn't really ask him to stick my hair back on, then, so paid up, but will look around for a better price next time.

Also spent £4.99 delivered on a chocolate fountain saw it on the grabbit board,

Hope it included lots of chocolate, kkw. :EasterBun

I was tempted in Wilkinson's, today - they still had lots of Easter Eggs reduced to below half price, including bags of Cadbury 'mini eggs'. However, I couldn't convince Mrs rog2 that it would have been a good idea to buy them in readiness for next Easter.
She seemed to think that they would not last till next week, in our house, leave alone next Easter.
