Okay, these are the titles for them both:

'In his book The Developmental Psychology of Music, David Hargreaves argues that ‘music education must have a firm foundation in developmental psychology.’ How far do you agree with this statement?'

    and

    '
‘Neoclassicism? A husk of style? Cultured pearls? Well, which of us today is not a highly conditioned oyster?’ (Igor Stravinsky [with Robert Craft], Dialogues and a Diary, 1963.) Consider Stravinsky’s views/theories on neoclassicism in relation to his practise in (and immediately preceding) the 1920s.'

    ARGH!.

OK, going to get all teacherish and technical on you now. very unlike me, i usually just talk carp....

Scribble down all the initial thoughts that spring to mind without even trying to think about it if that makes sense. You'll probably find that one runs into another and you'll have loads of thoughts and ideas down on paper.

Go back through and cross out all the ones that are nonsense and then try to expand and brainstorm on the others. that should give you a good foundation to structure your essay around...

    Good luck!!

It's funny how housework becomes strangely attractive when you're meant to be doing essays.. when I did OU courses my house was spotless :rotfl:

  • Hi everyone, how are you all? I will read through the thread in a second...

Just been in town, no uni today, and I am pretty sure I just saw the freegan couple from wife swap. I didn't have time to stop and speak to them, but I am sure it was them...they were handing out leaflets.

    I hate PMT. SO much.

Have a drink - should make you feel a bit better. Have another. Eventually you'll stop caring about PMT but by then you'll be pished!

Seriously - hate PMT / PMS. Since I stopped taking the pill I feel like I'm a danger to society, but I find the vodka/lemonade or coke works quite well at calming me down!

Hey jacs - you do know that with Level 2 Maths and English you could train to become a teacher of adults!!!

God, I was so hungry at work, my stomach was in knots around 12. I'd shovelled so many grapes into my mouth over the morning, I thought I'd make it to 2 when I left but even the banana i'd taken in didn't help!!

I couldn't wait to get home and I don't think I've ever eaten quorn sausages and beans so fast!
