in Cutting tax
Hi there sorry if i sound a bit dull but does this new tax start from this month if it does a question for you all on monday i get paid and as i work for the nhs a few months ago i was rebanded and my hourly rate went up this was backdated from 2004 now when they pay me this money back will my backpay be on the new or old tax rate as it is packdated pay remember ?

Yes, the 20p tax band starts with paydays this month. Your back pay will be taxed at this year's rate. Tax is payable on earnings on the amount received in the year.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
