If it turns out that the last payment was made less than 6 years ago.... does the CCA letter as on the ND factsheet constitute an acknowledgement of the debt?

I am surprised it doesn't have a disclaimer like 'I acknowledge no liability for any debt whatsoever to your company'

I read on a post yesterday that you need to write "i do not acknowledge this debt" at the start of the letter, so I did put that on. Not sure why it doesnt state that on the ND factsheet

I thought it did say that on it.

That's a shame, because that is a handy factsheet to link to.

Whether it actually acknowledges the debt without has been debated on several forums, and I can't remember a clear conclusion yet. So most people recommend adding the disclaimer.
