Are house prices set to take a tumble?

House prices where I live haven't fallen at all over the last year (and that goes for sold prices not just asking prices) and I live in a nice area, they didn't rocket like they did in some areas of the UK and yes the market is slow but at the end of the day, I would only sell my house if I could get the price I wanted for it, if I couldn't I wouldn't sell anyway, house prices will recover and unfortunately the days where you could buy a 3 bed semi for £30k are long gone
