Ground Rice Hunt!

in I wanna buy it or do it
My mum in law gave me a recipe years ago for almond slices that had ground rice in-they are fab!Havent made them for yrs and now cant find ground rice anywhere-used to get it easily in Tesco.Would anyone have any ideas-tried coop and asda.thanks!:j

    Is ground rice not ground rice? Can you not buy rice and grind it?

    Tesco online shopping has ground rice - they have it in the "flans and pastry" aisles. Did you ask when you were in the store? I know sometimes they put things in the most unusual and illogical places.

    If you live near an ethnic supermarket, they often have this and it's generally much cheaper than the supermarkets.

    Hi there, you can get it in Sainsbury's, it's about 47p, I bought some a couple of weeks ago to make some almond macaroons. My Tesco didn't have it.
    A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
