is it a good time

to move our mortgage?

Our fixed rate is up at the end of November. We will have to pay about 3k if we move before then, but i am getting a bit worried about the current state of the market and companies withdrawing mortgages.

Should we wait or bite the bullet and move now?

Comments

  • Personally I would rather wait until the end of November than spend 3k. Things might be looking a little better by then. And if not you will have your 3k as a cushion whilst you find the best deal for yourself.

Most of the HSBC deals will hold the current offer for 6 months if you pay the fee. So you can start the process with them now and move in November
