I am still chasing the CNC group and the Trinity Mirror Group about these missing prizes. Will let you know if I hear anymore. If I have not heard back within 7 days I will then be contacting the Press Complaints Commission.0

email EdwinM@isp.org.uk with a complaint (as reccommended to me by Kipper here) and ask him to look in to it for you. The more complaints they get, the more likely the newspaper will sort it out sooner. Be sure to mention that it was a txt comp so you paid to enter it. That's why i'm particularly annoyed because all these people paid to enter, they mustve made lotsa money, yet they don't send out the prizes = dodgy!
No more word from the ISP yet but i'm still emailing the newspaper often to try to annoy them lol (i'm always polite though)

I had an email just now from ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) saying that my complaint has been passed to them because the newspaper have obviously not responded to the ISP investigation etc and they need my permission to handle it now

Will let you know what happens, hopefully they will get made to send the dvds out

I won too and have had nothing as yet. Very odd. Will keep an eye on this thread and see what happens.0

The ASA have emailed back saying:
" We have been informed by the People newspaper that the DVD prizes are being dispatched this week. Hopefully, you should receive it by the end of the week.
Apparently the People were let down by their supplier. (A covering letter should accompany the DVD offering a fuller explanation). The DVD will be delivered by sign-for Royal Mail service."
If that's true then fair enough for the delay but they still should have replied to people's emails and calls etc. So we should get them by the end of the week yipee, I really like the movie

Rang them again today and was told they were dispatched on Monday this week. Lady was very helpful and apologetic for the delay :T.KittyPryde wrote: »The ASA have emailed back saying:

Awww thanks for finding that out for us.
It's a shame they've had so much trouble over it, and I hope it doesn't put them off doing it again.
The annoying thing is the text actually cost me more than it originally said and the kids have now seen the film on Sky anyway :rotfl:0 -
Congrats! - Well done0
