Mortgage Statements

Hi All,
OH and I took on a mortgage last year and do not receive statements or see them on internet banking.
Do I need to contact the bank to arrange this? How do you guys see keep track of your balances?
Thanks,

We get quarterly statements with our mortgage.

Like you I only took out ours last year, so I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong, but you should get an annual statement and given that it's April and the start of the new tax year there may even be one on it's way to you now?

Yep I think thats right. Every mortgage I've ever had has supplied this at least.... actually that doesn't mean a lot... I've only ever had a mortgage with Nationwide.

    I use online mainly.

Yep, get in touch with them and ask them what the options are.

I'm with the principality and they send me a yearly statement. I expected to get it on my anniversary of the mortgage but get it 17th April so obviously they round them all up at the end of March for the new tax year. Maybe it's done like that for those BTL owners to make tax returns easier to fill in- not sure?

We get our mortgage statements annually.
  • We get ours annually too, plus I can look online if needed. However, it is always depressing reading and so sometimes wish I never had access to the mortgage statements!
