Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 23 - Post your finds here

Had a quick trip round all 3 Durham stores today with little sis in tow for her first Bootsing lesson.
Still no sign of the Gorgeous bags up here, boo hoo

Clearance was pants but did get a Hummingbird eyeshadow for 50p and an enormous box of Thorntons choccies (500g) for £3.75 in Arnison Centre. :j
Found two £2 tillspits in baskets and got two of the Bourjois pencil sharpeners, no sign of any tweezers today though.

Sis got the last Huggies newborn pack for £1.25 and a pack of newborn Pampers with the free changing bag, little bottle of BE sensitive head to toe wash in it too so she's a happy bunny with all her stuff.

Has anyone had any luck using the ACM voucher for BOGOF on TS mens thickening shampoo, combined with PC free conditioner WYB any TS shampoo from Professional range? Was hoping I could get all 3 but only pay for 1.

Till beeped at BOGOF voucher so SA overrode it, tried then to use free conditioner voucher, again got the beep. Tills had apparently been playing up at that store today so she got the manager to check it, she said I couldn't use it as I had shampoo from mens range and the conditioner from womens. I pointed out that there were no exclusions printed on the voucher so then she said it was because the mens shampoo was TS but from the MG range. I pointed out that it still said Professional on all the bottles and was then told it was because voucher said "not to be used with any other offer" I didn't get any of the products in the end but I'm wondering if the till beeped because it was just playing up or if anyone has had any success. She did try to get it to work on another till, just putting one mens shampoo and a womens conditioner through but still got the beep.:(

Wish I'd had a survey spit today as the SA and manager both tried really hard to get it to work, bless 'em. Was hoping she might override it but, no.

Might try another day if any of you girls have had any success with it. Meanwhile I'm off to make a start on the choccies, BBD is May so no time to lose :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

just to let everyone knowthat this starts again on wednesday for 4weeks
not sure what brands you will be able to use it one but suppose it will be the usual ones

did they have many of the hummingbird eyeshadows or just the one? They were £2.75 last time I looked - lucky you getting it at that price:D enjoy the choccies:D

I will update the "gorgeous bag" list this evening, keep adding branches stocking them and I will check back. Bought 2 more R & M foundations reduced to £5 with 2 x £2 till spits. Only 14 nore to use!!!!

I got the last one of the eyeshadows, DD paid £2.75 for one on clearance last week too. They did still have two boxes of choccies when I left late this afternoon though
Noticed some Oral B replacement heads on clearance in Marketplace too, £4.50, I think they are usually a tenner.

and what about the sunglasses one? I need to buy a prescription one and really NEED this 50% voucher... they did it twice last year... why not this time:o

For those with loads of tillspits left,I recommend Bourjois So Laque Nail Varnish in "Rose Lounge" It is a very pale pink but when you put it on it makes your nails look much brighter.Nice for a quick natural/french manicure look. I was asked twice at work if I had had a manicure done!
It also wears well!
Its £4.95 so only £2.95 with tillspit ,also would look good in a hamper!

got 3x No7 bags in clearance for £3.25 each
was really chuffed but even more so when they went through 3 4 2 so paid £6.50 for 3 of them :T :T
