  • ok i apologise if there are loads of mistakes but im on my phone typing!
This till spit for £2 off can be better used by buying products individually rather than in the 2 for £10 offer for example 2 eye shadows cost £5.75 each or £10 on offer, use till spit and pay £8 but the better way is buy them one at a time so £5.75 for one use till spit and pay £3.75 so you would pay £7.50 for the 2. This only saves 50p but when you have loads of spits to use this all adds up! I have got 10 to use! Hope that all makes sense! This is just advise so you really need to do the maths for whatever you are going to buy but remember there may be a better way to save money than the actual deals they have on at the mo!
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Did you check it in the shop? It may have already been broken if you did not have really heavy or pointy items in your carrier.
Actually now you mention it, i dont think i did:rolleyes: Looked at the one at the front and picked one from the back like i always do. Should have taken the front one:rotfl:

Hi clare+3 :) I've never had any mailings in 4 years, apart from some HC ones a couple of weeks ago  lol.

How does anyone get them? Ring CS?
Be sure when you joined you ticked the box telling you want to be contacted by post from them. You can change these options online boots.com under 'Getting In Touch'; call CS, or simply insert your card to AC machine and update these options.
Although me & my husband have our cards for years, usually I use my own card for all purchases and he use it rarely (to buy cola or sandwich lol) - I always get their mailings and he never had any, although he updated his details telling he want to receive mailings. So I assume they send for most loyal customers, although I remember lots of MSErs calling CS and asking for mailings and all they normally say 'we updated your details and you should receive our mailings' but nothing comes. Try to do all your toiletries/baby shopping at boots whenever you can and hopefully soon you'll get most wanted mailing ;)
  • Checked my receipt And the £1 for healthcare was taken off :D
    This is my shop:
    Rescue remedy night 10ml £5.29
    Bach rescue remedy 10ml £4.49

    Miss sporty nail polish £1.99
    Miss sporty mono eyeshadow £1.79
    Miss sporty lip sorbet £2.79
Clean and clear blackhead scrub £3.28
Clean and clear cream wash £2.99
    Simple foaming face wash £2.79
    17 gwp
    17 eyeliner £2.29
    17 lip glaze £3.79

    6 x basics toothpaste 8p each:D
Used Lipglaze coupon, £1 off simple coupon, miss sporty lip sorbet coupon and £1 healthcare coupon.
    Total: £24.04
Got another £2 tillspit but doubt ill use it! I also spent £3 something before my bigger shop on 3 drinks and quavers:cool:
I meant to say earlier about the 8p toothpaste, i grabbed 6 to put in my xmas shoeboxes. (must check the bbd, didnt think at the time) They also had handcream 22p and bath foam reduced but dont remember the price of that. At the back by the baby stuff in slough. The basic stuff is very hidden for some reason:rolleyes: clever ploy to get people to buy the more expensive stuff? )
I suppose I had quite a good shop really, got quite a lot for £24. Im just so tight:p :rotfl:

    - bogof on always and alldays

I think it should work with Always offer:
always DUO packs are £2.99 each now are on offer 2 for £4.50
the till should count: 2.99+2.99-1.48 (offer '2 for £4.50) -2.99 (BOGOF coupon) = £1.51 for 2 DUO packs :j Can't try this as didn't receive such coupons (only FREE aldays with always that didn't work, so just paid the full price £4.50 for 2 duo packs :o )

Ah well that is great that you can take it back, probably got chucked around in those big boxes, it's no wonder everything does not get broke by SA's in my local...but hey they have a great job lined up in baggage handling if they get fed up with retail :)

    hiya all!!XX

Just a quick question regarding the '500 points wys £10 in baby dept' -

**am I right in saying that you need to have spent £10 before you hand over all the pc coupons?? (eg vouchers I'd be using 2 of the 3for£3 heinz, 2 of the half price on organic rice, save £1 + save 75p on pampers new born, half price on baby expert).................

I think that after all the pc coupons the total will be less than £10 - will I still be able to receive the 500 points????

would be really grateful for some clarification - thank you!!XX
Sorry can't be sure as last week I tried to use this coupons twise - once spend approx 12+ on baby food that are really not excluded and it didn't work  second time bought some pregnacare and it didn't work too, but not sure if pregnacare tabs (not cream) is classed as baby, not health department. Third time it worked, although I bought the same baby food as the first time, only in different store  but with this purchase I bought some other pregnancy stuff, before coupons it was 30+, after them I think 10+, handed two coupons for 500pts WHS £10 on baby and 500pts WHS £20 on baby and both worked, so I assume it should work for you, although not sure, as I had different experience in different store  HTH

Does anyone know if you can use the coupons for BOGOF Mediterranean pregnancy products on the minis?

Also, I just ordered my first Boots voucher from Pigsback - do I get any change from it on a gift card if I don't spend it all at once?
Yes, but they won't give you cash, just load them to Boots gift Card HTH ;)
