Hi
Does anyone have a voucher from Thursdays metro spare? I was off work as I was in yesterday. There are usually loads of old papers in the office but they had a "tidy Friday" thing on Friday(my day off!) and not a paper to be seen! It would take too long to send an sae to the metro as the offer ends on Wednesday. If you pm me I will sort out re postage. Thanks.
PS got to dismantle and re-build a bed today so might not be back on until later.
To keep it boots related***** they have a new range of snacks in the meal deal including olives, also new salady type things in place of the sandwiches.
K:cool:Money is only of any use if you can spend it!:cool:0 -

would rather not put too much detail here but it is all back on the thread around thursday/friday last week.0 -
Does anyone know if there are any of the berry holdall bags or any of the reduced make up bags in the north/central London area?
Really desperate for one now, got far too much make up and toiletries from reading this thread and I've got nowhere to put it all!0 -
Planning on going to boots later and wanted to ask a few question, sorry if they've already been asked. If you're using an ACM voucher for extra points can you pay with the points already on your advantage card? Also, would I get the £5 till spit if I used a roc £5 voucher to buy roc wipes for 5.99? Final question, (promise!) does anyone have any recommendations on what to spend the till spit on - I'm only 18 so don't really need any anti-aging products, which most of the included products seem to be.
Thanks
Hi,
if you don't need anti-ageing stuff you can get the TD: hand cream (free)- you can nover have too much hand cream! -, body lotion for £1.50. Do you use Toner and Cleanser (TD)? Most people here love the wipes (even for using around the household, I believe I have read).
The TD instant eye brightner can also be a good option, since it is free and is intended to conceal dark circles, which at 18 you might get after a night out?I used a sanctuary eye brightner which was twice the price and is exactly the same (well, Boots produces both of them...). and this one is free.
Personally I have been getting some Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Cream Wash.
It is only £1.50 and it is a bit exfoliating. I have been using it to wash my face occasionally and love the apricot smell and the tiny granules (not really exfoliating). I have been using it for my hands as well, instead of buying an expensive hand treatment. I bought a couple to use as a body scrub in the shower - since for £1.50 you can't go wrong. I bought some of the other olay cleasers but have not tried them.
This is really a great voucher!! :T
PS: if you don't have one till spit to quick start, why not get a £5 top-up? That is what I always do!! Then I get the goodies plus any essentials I know I will need (cotton wools, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap etc), even if these are a bit more expensive than elsewhere, it pays for the almost free goodie.0 -
Last time I got the Time Delay Gradual tan lotions I think the face one is £4.99 and the body one £5.50.I think they would be fine on young skins!
We might not all be as young as 18 but we should all look it by now:rotfl::j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
Just a quick question - does this voucher count as cash at the end of the transaction so that if the product is over £5 you get another till spit? I can't remember how this works and I have the world's most terrible sore throat and headache today
and feeling very sorry for myself, can you tell?

They do online but I don't think you get points with kitchen stuff.
Edit yes you DO get points but can only see 2 kettles.
I remember when Boots branches had a "cookshop" ,now that would be great ,we could fill our kitchens as well as our bathrooms, bedrooms, wardrobes, drawers, cupboards, loft, shed............or is that just me:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::j I love bargains:jI love MSE0
