Rubbish shop today, got a few bits and pieces and a £5 tillspit. Used on the TD hand and nail cream which had an official SEL saying that it's included in the tillspit offer, still got a beep though so SA went to check then overrode it. I noticed the TD Starter sets at £7.49, these were £9.99 until recently
The SA 's seem really unsure what is allowed on this till spit . An elderly lady asked me to help her in Boots today .She had bought an olay eye cream with her till spit -it clearly had a sel of 9.99 but had been charged 14.99 and receipt had a different product on it . When she went back to the till they were unhelpful and she had to march them to the shelf to try to explain what was wrong . It appeared that the till was set up wrongly and was scanning a product as something slightly different and more expensive. It really pays to check the reciept!0 -
Whats a till spit??????:p
A till spit is a limited offer - it is the extra voucher that the prints out with your receipt (Tesco has them as well). The offer varies and the current Boots one is for 5.00 off facial care from a range of brands (see Crazyposhgirl's first post).
Note in your calendars, the No7 342 ends 20 May.0 -
Only just realised that I've only been given 4 account card points plus the 100 from the voucher  Has this happened to anyone else? Should I phone CS or just go back to the store?
You don't get points for the pencil sharpener as that was free. You only get 100 points for the cellulite cream instead of 112 because they introduced this rule where you don't get normal points when you use a voucher for points when you buy a certain product. So the only thing you earned 'normal' points on was the sandwiches and crisps which came to £1.91 = 4 points as they only give points on whole pounds spent now!
Hope that makes sense, sorry it's so long. And stingy!:www: :: MFi3 ::

Visited 2 Boots stores today, to get rid of all my £2 tillspits and some Olay & Pantene coupons that were burning a whole in my handbag
.
Got 4 Bourjois sharpeners in the end, Olay Hand Treatment, Olay Toner and BIG bottle of Pantene Conditioner which had been reduced to £2.50.
Used: 4x £2 tillspits, 1x PC £5 off Olay, 1x PC free Olay product, 1x PC 600pts wyb Olay, 1x PC £2 off Pantene, 1x PC 200pts wyb Pantene.
Paid 50p in cash. Gained 800 points..
Unfortunately both ACMs have been out of order all week, so no new offers for me, yet! Might call CS next week to see if they can speed up the repairs.

Just go back from bootsing and realised my local boots doesn't have an ACM
So no big shop, I bought
Boots Expert anti-cellulite cream - £3.32
2 reduced sandwiches - 75p each
Packet of crisps - 41p
The last Bourjois pencil sharpener :T - £1.95
Handed over 100pt expert voucher from the mag
£2 cosmetic voucher
Paid £5.23 total and got a till spit.
Only just realised that I've only been given 4 account card points plus the 100 from the voucher  Has this happened to anyone else? Should I phone CS or just go back to the store? Don't want to get pulled up on getting the pencil sharpener for free.
The Boots in Camden, London has reduced
No 7 foundation (around £6)
the hummingbird eyeshadow (£3)
FCUK deodorant (1.48ish) and wipes
loads of memory cards and USB sticks (not that good, 256 and 515mb, not that cheap either)
reduced soltan (£5)
There was other stuff but can't remember what.
Thats OK... for a year or so Boots instore is not giving you normal points for products you get extra one... so:
Boots Expert anti-cellulite cream - £3.32 no normal points here cos you got 100 with voucher
2 reduced sandwiches - 75p each
Packet of crisps - 41p
rest is £1.91 so 4 points here...
