    Morning all!!XX

Firstly I just want to say to 'ANTA' - WOW!!! it's amazing how you combined all those coupons!!.....you clever girl!!!! - did the SA not say anything??.........next time i'll look for different barcodes on my coupons and combine (THANKS !!XX)

Yes, she said: look at your points! I said 'yes, I can go shopping again', she replied: 'tell me before you go, lol :D '
She didn't say anything as I didn't use coupons for items I didn't bought; all coupons were up-to date and I bought some other bits. I never feel bad to use coupons I receive, as I always shop in Boots whenever I can - all my baby's stuff (incl. changing bag, high chair, bed rails, Lindam gates, all safety stuff, food, milk, breast pump, plates, spoons, rattles, toys, teethers, dental care, clothing, photo albums etc - all of them were bought in Boots. Also I plan all my toiletries only in Boots and never let my husband to pick anything from Tesco/ Sainsbury's that I can buy in Boots. When I'm not sure what to purchase as a birthday gift, guess which shop's gift card I buy  And guess what normally I get on my birthday/Cristmas etc :D:D:D So I think I'm worth all coupons I receive from them and - if they stop sending me them, I wouldn't be such Boots addicted  I hope that's OK for both of us - me and Mr Boots too ;) I get all my toiletries + sometimes amazing bargains and they get my money ;)

The husband is snoring so I'm back up, lol. I will say those Roc wipes sting my face, especially my eyes, so badly that after using I have to wash with the Olay cleanser to get it off. I've tried it twice now with the same result, which is why I've ditched plans to buy 15 pounds of Roc to get the gwp (a review online said Roc eye cream made the person swell up, so I don't want to push my luck). I'm sure most people don't have a reaction though or they couldn't sell the stuff; just thought I'd give you a heads up if you're at all sensitive!

Does anyone know if I can return my opened Roc wipes due to a bad reaction (or exchange for other skincare, as it was part of a 3 for 2 offer)? I have the receipt.
I find that the Nivea wipes sting my face especially around my eyes. I bought 6 packs though because they were reduced to 50p. I much prefer the Boots Expert ones. I doubt I'd be able to return mine though because I haven't got a receipt for them anymore.

Hi skibster and not sure if I've caught you before you go shopping, but if not, can you ask if it's the Retinol in it that causes the allergic reaction please?

I was going to try the 12 week programme (?) but read up on it and think it might be the retinol that caused my reaction to the P&P. (I did read somewhere that if you had sensitive skin, to introduce Roc over a period of days - like use once every 3 days to begin with etc, but can't find the bookmark now.)

    Thanks in advance :)

I think the post you want is in the last thread. The poster said her friend got a gwp with 3 Roc wipes, but that she herself had tried that transaction three times in the same store her friend used and it didn't work. I found a flyer online saying you must spend 15 on Roc to get the gift, so as the till only charges for two wipes, the total won't be 15 and that may be why it didn't work. I think it just depends on how the tills are programmed in your store and what SA you get. hth

    That was me , Skibs...

there is still one lone ROC GWP in our boots...but i couldnt be bothered to try getting it with other ROC combinations now, esp since the SAs cant even read. You mentioned earlier that ROC didnt work for you too,...have u tried it again?

i have been paid for this week, but i shall not spend a single penny in boots...(lets see how long i can resist:p )
  • Took advantage of a few offers today - I got
Meal Deal - £0 as used Luncheon vouchers from Pinecone
    2 packs vitamin E cleansing wipes - 99p each -£1.98
Vitamin E face wash - free on 3 for 2 skin offer
VO5 Mud Mask and VO5 Blonde hair mask -£2.19 on BOGOF
    2x Dove Cleansing Bars - 36p each, reduced = 72p
Meditteranean almond, pistachio & olive soap x2 = £1.50 with ACM voucher.
    Total spend £6.39

At first the Meditteranean soap wouldnt go through the till - the ACM voucher said free soap when you buy any other product from the mediterranean range, and as the soap is the cheapest I picked up two. The SA and her colleague agreed that it should have gone through as it didn't say you couldn't have 2 soaps, so she overided it for me :D
