hi all just back from silverburn. had a £5 voucher to be spent so went looking to see what i could buy. the SA there was putting little signs on shelf edge beside products saying " you can use voucher to buy me" made my life easier as im usually stood for ages trying to work it out. heres hoping it will happen in all stores.

i got a TD facial pampering kit containing

50 ml revitalising deep cleansing mask
    50ml purifying cleansing balm
    5ml intensive restoring treatment

a small cloth and brush for putting on cleasing mask

price before voucher £5.50 so i only had 50p to spend
I paid £7.50 for one of those last week (in 3 for 2 offer to get L'Oreal GWP)

Boots points: £72.75 when I lost it lol Tesco points 2140

I got one today mixed in with other items, no beep when the voucher scanned. I was chuffed as I hadn't attempted this glitch before and I was dead sure the SA would pull me up on it - especially after the SA next to her was moaning that her supervisor wouldn't let her have the sharpener with the till spit earlier this morning. :D
I have no problems - bought them in two stores so far. PM me if you want me to get you some.

    i think it is 10 days.... IIRC..dunno tho :o
PAH! That is pants, half the time it takes them longer to send a card.

However, when I had my local stores female manager refuse to put on 1700pts from reciepts I called CS, they asked for barcodes, two tics later they were added and were on acm the next day. So if you do not get a new card within 10 days then I's sure CS will be as nice as they were with me. Got another 1000 added as female manager treated me like a 7yr old naughty school girl, very loudly infront of a massive group of shoppers. CS are always lovely and always agree with the customer. Well I bet they do not always agree as such, but you always get the result you wanted, plus more :)

The med hand cream is not a mini and it was full price. I got one a few weeks ago and the SA said 'mini's not accepted' before she scanned it. I pointed out that it was the only size and not a mini. But its scanned fine both times. I've had more problems when I buy 2 soaps to get the BOGOF. I couldnt see any reductions in my store, but I will keep a look out for them. HTH
Thanks pollsdolls ..please let me know as I could take a trip to your neck of the woods ( well your side of the river anyway)

The only thing is you seem to have a tough time with the SA's...When I first asked about validating the receipts the SA did say she was not sure it would work but she would try it and it did work...done it with 400pts on Q10, 2 x 200 S&G's scanning together and 250 No7 from GWP ( not a good time to lose card!!) Got my best points haul when all this was going on !!

Also I am sure that the med voucher does not say excludes minis as I have done it with minis no probs..in fact I don't think there are any exclusions on that voucher, it just say 'buy any product'
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Can someone explain till spits to me?
Sorry, I'm quite new to this
A till spit is a voucher printed by the till when you have spent a certain amount of money, usually £5. The latest one is a £5 voucher to spend on some facial skincare ranges. :D

When I lost my card they validated reciepts and it included points from acm, pc etc

EDIT: Not sure how long you have to get the points validated though, anyone know?
Presume they do it for a few weeks - but receipts are only valid for 30 days

Morning Girls and Guys.....or should i say Afternoon,

Just "cut through" boots on my way 2 get my little un some trainers and am REALLY pee'd off, went in on Tues an saw the Huggies box that i REALLY want so SEL said £5 but we no better??? no still £5 went 2day an the SEL was £1.25 an yup ALL GONE!!!!! went an asked the same SA as Tues an she said they had been reduced yesterday but the other SA had bought both boxes!!! well anoyed :(

As i was cutting through found a No7 Super slim for £10 sel said £5 asked diff SA if that was right an she said it was a really good deal as its good stuff, couldn't find it on . com but heres a pic

    Image052-1.jpg

I got one of these for free with a 5.00 No7 voucher:j it was reduced to 5.00 (when the last lot of No7 vouchers were out) I haven't tried it yet though.

Sorry to hear you missed out on the reduced huggies. It's really annoying when you ask for a price check and they say it's full price...then the next minute they've been snapped up by someone else at a bargain price:mad:
