I went in yesterday, Flying visit on my way home ( promised DH that I would come straight home !! sound familiar?? :p ) Didn't see the bags where were they? Clearance was rubbish !

Yep I will be seeing you in the morning...then I think I'll go to the village for a mooch in that Boots...and I'll bring those wipes too;)
Did you get the First aid kit yet?
Sounds extremely familiar. Gorgeous bags where right near the front door on your right (I think) and they had the odd 1 hung near the tills too (about 5pm'ish).

Yep I thought clearance was rather lacking too! Only ended up buying some Gilette blades for DH (my excuse for visiting, LOL) which were FULL price 8 for £14.99  , so paid with points. Oh and the gorgeous bag too (plus a couple of snacks for the kids).

I did notice something strange though....It looked as though they were re-arranging the displays around the store ready for the new promos. They had sheets of paper folded over (so you couldn't see what it said) with the planogram (well that's what we call them in my shop) of the items and what the offer is.

I can remember some of them (because I'm nosey and had a look, lol):

There's one on Bourjois on an eye pencil, clubbing mascara and a few other items. I think it said 3 for 2 - I'm wondering if the till spits will work if the offers overlap.

    BOGOF on Ted Baker womens

Buy one get 2nd half price on Botanics and a few others.

I did see some others but that's all I can remember and hope I remembered them right as this was a whole 24 hours ago now and I do have 2 small children so my brain can be a bit frazzled at times LOL.

Ettenna bought medicines and got a £5 tilsplit, pershaps that explains it. Has anyone else had one today, and can help solve the mystery?

    As far as I know it's a £5 minimum spend to receive a £5 till spit.:j
(I spent just over £5 and got one today)

There were no signs up to the contrary in the 2 stores I visited today.

If there is lots of confusion, it might be worth phoning CS to clarify this offer (as it's 'supposed' to be nationwide)

I bought nappies and spent over £5 in 2 transactions and got 2 x £5 skincare spits.

Spent £15 on Pantene shampoo and got £5 skincare spit again.

    Yes, I got a £5 tillspit with a spend of £5.67.

I can see me stocking up on the Time Delay wipes again. I really like these...they smell great and they don't leave your skin all dry. Also, they're very very useful for removing splodgy make up from the faces of six year old girls who have spent an afternoon transforming themselves into rock star slapperettes.....

I was in there at about 4:30pm so just missed you, saw the same bits of folded paper too, loads of SA's milling around and I was rushing so only looked at one it was for 17 makeup ( certain 2 items for £6 , eyedazzle and eyeliners it says online) Can't believe I missed the bags, must have walked straight passed them LOL

I'll make sure I don't walk straight past you in the morning if I missed the gorgoeus bags I could miss you LOL
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I also did 3 seperate transactions equalling around £6 each and got 3x £5 till spits. V strange about the £2 one... I agree with skms, phone CS to query this.
  • night all! just finished off my m&s online sale shopping!
On a boots note, maybe we should start a list of cheap items to use in Expert range with the various vouchers. For eg:

100pts WYB any expert product (h&b mag)

    Expert sensitive body wash 99p

Just a thought..2mw is yet another (bootsing) day...:D

So easy it is silly and you can add procts like wipes to hold tiers together, put other products reasting on layers and add things like bibs, teethers, hairbrushes, pins, rattles and teddies so it is not just a load of nappies. If you an't find instructions then pm and i'll explain in english how simple it is
lol i've got lots of pm's so am typing it in word so I can cut and paste into pm and send it, save keep doing it, not ignoring you all lol
