My Credit score has changed from 654 to 694 and it is listed as Poor. Does anyone know what it needs to be to be considered Good?? Or even Fair???

Hi Mccor,
Unfortunately the score that you have been given is as just a way of the credit ref agency making money out of you.
anyone granting credit uses their own credit scoring techniques and not necessarily those used by experian, equifax, etc.
I too usedd to be in the trap of paying the extra fiver a month to see what experian thought of me before i realised I'd spent £60 on nothing:rolleyes:
To improve your credit score make sure you are on the electoral role, set up dds to cover the minimum payment at least on all cc's (this way it still shows as a zero on your report) obviussly you can set up for full amount if you want to. Make sure all duplicate searches are removed etc.
In today's climate there have been people on here with credit scores of just below 1000 that are still being declined credit, hence why the score is pointless.

Apparently your score needs to be over 950 these days, and even then people get turned down. 694 is very low, I'm afraid. As has been said, make sure you are on the Register of Electors (sometimes erroneously called the Electoral Roll) and pay everything on time to build the score up.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
