Mortgage with an IVA

Hi everyone, does anyone have any knowledge of IVA's and mortgages?? At the moment i am on a fixed rate mortgage that ends in december so i want to get looking at other mortgages, only thing is my hubby has an IVA. At the moment the mortgage we have is a self cert and its just in my name even tho we both pay it, we would like to get a mortgage with us both on so that in time if we want we can borrow more for a bigger house cos it will be based on our joint income. Does anyone know the best sort of companies that would take someone on for a mortgage if they have an IVA????

There are lenders that can do this
However you need to get agreement from IVA company that they are happy for you to proceed. You will also need a letter from them stating that is has been conducted satisfactorily
