Problem with getting refund from Littlewoods catelogue

Hey all
I bought a DVD player from Littlewoods 9 months ago, paid balance off straight away and closed account. however DVD player broke so had to return it to them at end of Feb. They said it would take up to 2 weeks to show up on their systems for the return. So mid March it showed up on my online account (which i could still access even though account was closed). Rung them and they said they would send cheque out for the £30 refund.
5 weeks later and I've not received a cheque  have emailed them after 2 weeks and they apologised for me not receiving it and would re-send it immediately. Therefore I would assume that they have already sent a cheque in first place.
So I still don't have cheque so thought before I ring and go mental at them I would check my online account to see if it showed it processing. But I can't log into it. It says there is no record of an account with either my email address or account number
. I was also checking my credit card statement this evening and I've received a credit of £15 from "littlewoods warehouses". Now this credit card (tesco) was never linked to the account so there is no way they could have the card no to credit the refund (paid balance by cash at bank), the amount is half what it should be and I've had no correspondance from them stating they were going to refund it.
I'm now very confused. Going to ring them tomorrow but just wondered if anyone else had experienced problems with getting refunds from Littlewoods or could confirm by what method they do refund?
Thanks in advance, sorry for long post.

I, too, am having problems from them. I, accidently, sent a broken phone charger back and didn't put the phone in the package. I sent them the phone which was returned, but not the charger. They say I need to sent both together, but they have the charger. I am still being charged by them. When I told the operator on the phone, I wished to return the phone, she asked me if I wished to order another one to replace that one, but later they said they never do that. In other words I am a liar. I am still paying for this phone.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0
