Hi
I have had both these cards a while & usually work ok. However, if one does go wrong it is always the Cashplus one.
On several occasions when their have been sufficient funds loaded the Cashplus has rejected at restaraunts, when renewing insurance on the phone, & buying concert tickets on-line. On each occasioni have had to go bk & use the Virgin card.
I have also had the card replaced 4 times. Has anybody else had these problems with Cashplus.
Thanks

i have both as well and have to be honest i find Virgin better all round, not least because i prefer the way they charge no monthly fees but a small amount on everything you buy.

Thanks for the replies.
Also, forgot to mention with Cashplus, i have found you have to use the PIN they give you. Although they say it can be changed at Barclays & Natwest ATMs i have found that it can't.
The only advantage i can see with Cashplus over Virgin is that when i reload with cash the money is availiable within half an hour with Cashplus. While Virgin takes a full working day.
In this day & age why it doesn't go on straight away is beyond me.

Hi,
I use my cashplus card a lot and have found it very good. It all depends on which will be best regarding charges.
Have never had any problems with the cashplus card and probably use it 30 times a month.
I've successfully changed my PIN at an Abbey cashpoint, so that might be worth a try.LBM : March 2008
