I'm new here but I'm sure they cannot force entry unless you have already let them in. There are loads of really helpful people here who will be able to help you on this. Herbie21 has a website that has loads of info on so have a look at that and I'm sure someone will be along soon with some good advice.

Also just wanted to say I know how you feel I have had them at my house yesterday. Good luck.0 -

Possibly - depend on what court they are from.

For general advice, have a look at:

But please also pm Herbie21 - you have already been advised to look at her excellent website: http://www.bailiffadviceonline.co.uk
If you pm her, she can give you specific advice regarding the proposed visit and what they can do.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Sorry for the possibility of any sarcasm, but I can't believe that there is a post about bailiffs that BC hasn't posted on! He would have been in his element!
yes, I know, I'm sorry......*Floss slopes off to bed*.....0 -
They are not allowed to force their way in but if a window is left open they can gain entry that way.
When they come, do not open the door - converse with them through the letter box and whatever you do, Don't sign anything. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

It doesn't matter whether this is their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 10th visit. If the bailiffs have not been into your home yet then they CANNOT force entry.
Please listen to Herbie21's advice.
