Astonishing!

Has anybody tried the range of "Astonish " products currently on sale in Wilkinsons, Home Bargains, Poundland etc? I have just valeted my car and having been in the motor trade for 30+ years , I thought I'd give these products a go!
I tried the no-smear window cleaner (which apparently also stops fogging) and I must say it performs better than the dearer brands!
With this in mind I tried the tyre/bumper black, and was equally impressed, and also with the upholstery cleaner.
There is a vast range of products and all in trigger spray bottles(which appear to last longer), and all at 99p each!!!
So it's back to Wilkos to see what other lines they do!!
Trust me you'll be impressed!!

I totally disagree, the Astonish car products Ive tried are great for old bangers that get little attention - I think the products are very poor quality and very "thin". Ive tried the trim/tyre black and also the window cleaner and carpet cleaner.
The carpet cleaner was OK, but by no means good, the other stuff was absolutely awful.
No money saving here in my opinion.
Sorry

The granite polish is excellent although I haven't been able to get it recently as none in store .0

I love the bathroom products. The shower spray is fantastic. The kitchen stuff I have tried I would use again, as well.0

The tyre cleaner might be"thin", but in the aerosals you only get to do your car tyres about 2 or 3 times ie. 8-12 tyres, whereas with this you get absolutely loads which enables you to do your tyres every week if neccessary, and all for 99p!!!
My tyres will be looking good for the next 6 months at least!!!0 -

I take it granite polish is for polishing granite? Can it be used for anything else? I ask this as I haven't seen this one.trinnylilac wrote: »The granite polish is excellent although I haven't been able to get it recently as none in store .0 -

Yes it is . I have a black granite kitchen worktop and it takes away all the smears that normal kitchen cleaners leave behind and makes all the sparkly bits stand out again.
It is a white texture that you wipe over and then polish off. It comes in black packaging0 -
i'm in the supermarket industry ..so know all the differrent ranges etc ... ......and for some years now I use nothing but Astonish products ..in the house and on the car .
Cleaning abilities are top class and the products don't have strong smells etc.
tremendous value..... the household cleaners .. used to be 500ml bottles .. most are now 750ml .... most places retail at 99p .. but some now at 89p ...
Everyone i recommend them to has been happy .
Guess it's like Martins' view on "value" brands etc .... people should buy one , try it and see what they think. ..not a lot to lose . .. but a lot to gain !!0 -
Me and my daughter bought the glass cleaner and carpet cleaner from Makro and only paid around 20 pence each for them, they didn't have a lot of choice though so maybe they were being discontinued. Good products though:p0
