I was about to buy the Max Factor cos of all your recommendations however alot of the reviews do mention it can easily run.

The only one I really get on with is Loreal Voluminous. When it gets near the end of it's life, I find putting the tube in a cup of warm water for a few minutes before I use it softens it back up and I can get several more weeks use out if it.

Also, join https://www.makeupalley.com (free) and always always read the product reivews before trying a new one!
  • I find Max Factor Masterpiece Max Waterproof really is waterproof (and I have very watery eyes) and it isn't cloggy or clumpy (though appearance wise I prefer Lancome waterproof but too expensive!).
I think Boots have an offer on at present of a free kohl pencil with any Max Factor mascara.

Hi - I found L'oreal telescopic to be great if you just want lengthening, not thickening. And Max Factor Masterpiece is FANTASTIC and reviewed really well everywhere. It does the job, both thickening and lengthening...

I was just about to say the same 2!!

I've just invested in the Clinique Lash Power which is the one that does the little tubes (like Kiss Me but cheaper), its totally fantastic, I am converted!

I used to use Max Factor Masterpiece, Lash Power is better than that.
    MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £58774
  • The best mascara by far is L'Oreal Lash extension and I have used loads, including

    Benefit Bad Lash
    Maybeline Illegal Lengths
    Bourjois Coup D'Theatre
Bourjois Clubbin' - good for going to parties and gigs though
    Rimmel Magnifeyes
    Rimmel xtreme Volume
    Max Factor 2000 Calorie....

........could go on forever. get it from www.islandcosmetics.com

I like Masterpiece Max- I don't have panda eyes at the end of the day, which is fab, especially as I wear contacts.

Another boo-hiss for Diorshow- I think its awful. I do like YSL Faux Cils though, although its £££ and runs out quickly, so I just stick to the Masterpiece Max

i always use loreal shocking volume and swear by it, it usually costs about £10 but its always worked for me and makes my lashes look longer because they are not naturally that long
