Deposit needed

Hi guys,

I have been accepted for a shared ownership house

40% at £60000

I applied for a 100% mortgage but no luck!! Abby have offered a 95% mortgage but I need to get £3000 together

What are my options? If I apply for a loan cc card will it affect my mortgage offers etc?

Any help would be gratefully received

Thanks in advance

Matt

There are lenders that will do 100% of a 40% share. I tend to use Woolwich for these cases but there might be one of two of the larger building societies that will do this too.

You cant borrow seperately to fund a deposit. (Well you physically can, but you are not allowed to). If you get cought doing this it is potentially mortgage fraud - you will be asked if your deposit is from a borrowed source, if you say yes then it will be declined.
