Hi,
I picked up a Goodmans 27" Widescreen TV for £349 at Tescos, the spec isn't top of the range, and it isn't HDtv ready, but for the bedroom it fitted the bill.
Not sure if it is nationwide, as it is still on the website at £499
Model GTV27W3LCD (Thanks Poppycat)
100 program memory
Twin scarts
NTSC playback
TV picture in PC
TV picture and PC
PC input, support up to 1280x720
Contrast ratio.. 600:1
Brightness: 550 cd/m2
Comes with wall mounting bracket (basic type, no tilt)
Cheers, Des.

WOW, thats definately the cheapest I've ever seen for that size screen. 20" models are still floating around that price, and I doubt the spec is any better on those. I'm off to Tesco now to have a look0

Yup, thats the one.
it also has a d-sub input for PC connection.
It isn't a bad set by a long shot, but it also isn't top of the range.
It also has what looks like a wall mounting bracket in the box. I can't confirm tho, as I only quickly unpacked it and got it going.
If anyone has any questions on it, feel free to ask. I am well happy for £350

For £350 it's a good price but my Tesco don't sell tv's. I wonder why the web price doesnt show the new price0
-
Well it may not be national, and could be just my store cutting the rpice to get rid, won't know until anyone else confirms it at a different store.

I have updated the spec in the first post, actually better than I first thought, well happy0

DESG, can you confirm if it has Component inputs ?0

These are £650 in Argos, so £349 is a good price if you just want it as a bedroom TV.0

Hi Desg
