It's usually advised to send postal orders rather than a cheque.

A cheap scanner, some free photo editing software downloaded from the web and a blank Credit agreement form, there's no telling what your signature from the cheque could be used for.

For safety and peace of mind, i'd still suggest the postal order.

Printing your name is fine on letters. Some people just initial the letters.
Just as long as there is no signature.

I have just sent CCA request to Northern Rock but signed the letter!

Not too worried tho as it is a joint debt so they would need to have an agreement with both of our signatures on I assume? Also a "true copy" should be certified as being a "true copy of the original" so anything supplied without an original signature on it, can surely be open to interpretation? And if it is a copy that has been certified, then this can only be produced from the original which they should then have ?

I can't beleive lenders would go to such lengths as to "forge" agreements?

There was a post on one of the advice boards involving a high street bank. A loan had been taken out and they produced a CCA with the debtors name on it. Only thing was, she had got married in the interum and it was her married name rather than her maiden name on the CCA. Dates didn't add up!!
