Hi

Not sure if someone has asked this before but I'm not sure if I can claim or not.

I took out a loan with the Halifax in 2003 and later defaulted, but then paid back the loan early I think i fall under the paid back early single premium rule but not sure as I don't actually remember being told I'd have to have it? or that I could cancel it?

So maybe i fall under two categories or whether i can't claim at all

Is it worth a try - i'm sooooo confused by all the stuff on here i'm not sure if i can or can't and I know the Halifax will be battle and a half following on from charges claims i made?

has anyone done this on a loan they defaulted on? just so i have some back up and i know how to battle them?

Help

Hi everyone ive not posted for a while but i think ive reached the end of the line with no success. ive tried to claim from southern pacific loans for a mis sold ppi through a claims company which went to the fos with no success as they were not regulated at the time of the loan . We were then told to try and claim from the insurance company who were regulated but they have said they are not responsible for the way the ppi's are sold so we have now hit a brick wall . it just seems so unfair that we have paid £7000 out for no reason . What is really annoying is that less than a year after we took the loan out we had the loan added on to our mortgage. Does anyone know if there are any other routes we could go down or is that it ???

    thanks
