Bunny - fingers crossed for the made-for-idiots interview

Toto - I'm glad to hear you're being looked after by your DS. I know you've probably already done this and I'm sorry if I am stepping on your toes, but think hard about the consequences of the test, not just the chances of anything occurring but the physical effect of (a) the test and (b) carrying the knowledge for the next few months. Does the result confirm anything apart from whether fragile X is being carried, and is it something that could jeopardise the pregnancy (like amnioscentesis)? I had a vaguely similar dilemma over 22 years ago with DS1 and spina bifida, ended up having an amnio at risk to the pregnancy to get a result of "95% chance of being ok but we'll have a paediatrician at the birth just in case". Having any knowledge of possible challenges can put a strain on all concerned too. :grouphug:
Sorry that was an awful lot of big words - nobody at home or in the office to talk to for 2 days so they're all saved up!!!
Love to all on this chilly but suny morning

Hello all

Good luck for second interview Bunny... I'm sure you'll walk it. And here's hoping we have some great news from Louise today.
I'm absolutely shattered today. I have been running on adrenaline (and chocolate!) for last few days, and now I think I'm crashing. Oh, to be at home on the sofa.
Have a great dayOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 550

After 2 kids & umpteen scans (we had loads in the olden days of 20+yrs ago!) I still can't work them out! How many weeks are you, Toto?
P.S. maybe its just your muscles "relaxing"...that's what I was told after DS1
