Velux type blind for a normal window

My son's bedroom is very light at night and he gets up very early - Yes he's ten! (can't wait for puberty to set in - We'll have the opposite of waking him up not him waking us up a six every morning) He doesn't come in and wake us up but the noise he makes does.
Anyway back to the point. I want a blind that has the same effect as a velux blind (link example below) but I can't seem to find any - Does anyone know of asimilar product available anywhere. I know it sound excessive but we are happy to pay up to £100 just to get that extra hour or three on weekends!

It depends whether your window is a genuine velux window. There are some web sites out there offering great deals on genuine velux blinds. Much cheaper than buying from Velux directly.
But velux blinds only fit velux windows. There are several other types of loft windows out there, like fakro, dakstra, rooflite - those and velux are the main brands.
www.newblinds.co.uk has blinds for all of these types of loft windows. So i would give them a try. You'll probably sort yourself out with a blackout style blind for less than 100 quid.0 -
oh forgot to mention, newblinds also do "normal" roller blinds for normal windows (i.e. not roof windows), but made from velux fabrics.0
