    Odd point here, but I had spinal surgery last October. I didn't realise how soft and comfortable the hospital mattresses were until I got home. It felt so hard (even though it had been fine before) that I swear the grass outside was softer. Anyway, I came up with the solution of putting an airbed / lilo, on it. (like in the pic below). Anyway, it has worked perfectly, and I still sleep on it, now with no pain at all.
