    Man it up soldier..!

    Give her nothing..
  • Just before i got married having flowers delivered to my door on the morning of my wedding, beautiful lillies with a mixture of unusual oriental flowers, and a simple note, 'can't wait for you to be my wife' was quite a tearjerker...given they were delivered just before i left, it was perfect.

I like the star idea or how about an acre on the moon

Most romantic thing OH has bought me is a solid silver rolo
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Ahhhh now that's a good idea. A solid silver loveheart or as paddington said a silver Rolo.
Personally I would prefer either of these instead of the star naming or acre of moon for a couple of reasons.....

I like to have things in my possession that I can touch or look at any time I want to so the heart or rolo would be perfect.
With the star naming and acre of moon I'd be thinking about how many other people have named that star or have the same acre as I do. Its ok for websites to say you are the only one who has named it/bought that particular acre, but you wouldn't know for sure

How about naming a rose after your gf? Its something special that she can also have in the garden to watch it grow and look after.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

  • I think you should hand-write a soppy love poem or letter in a diary, then bookmark the page with a single rose, that would be so nice!!!

    what bout eternity ring

pearls with a Lapis Lazuli Heart shaped pendant. I can provide you with more info and a picture.

"Since ancient times, the pearl has been a symbol of unblemished perfection. It is the oldest known gem, and for centuries it was considered the most valuable. Pearls have been considered ideal wedding gifts because they symbolize purity and innocence. In the Rigveda, an ancient Hindu book dating back to 1000 B.C. Krishna, the preserver, brought forth pearls from the depths of the sea to give to his daughter on her wedding day.
Thus started the tradition of giving pearls to the bride. The ancient Greeks also believed that pearls should be part of the wedding experience. They considered pearls to be the "wedding gem" because they believed that pearls would help ensure marital bliss and prevent newlywed brides from crying"

You can take a bare rooted plant I think so you could take a wedding rose.
Like lots of the suggestions I think a letter or poem would be lovely too.
