It's a typical money laundering identity theft scam. I get sent these on virtually a daily basis with the company names and location changing. They find you the same way any spam does - send a billion e-mails and some of them will match genuine e-mail addresses and get delivered; more if you use a free e-mail address, the one provided by your ISP or an active domain.
