    Total around £1679

So i have around £500 ish spare for debt, buying what little baby bits we still need (not much)

    Virgin CC £600 o/s 34.9 for may 08 i pay £20 at least
Next store card £271 26.8% I have been paying min plus all spare.
    Cap1 cleared

As virgin are uping the APR to 34.9% i called Cap1 and have arranged a balance transfer to them at 0% with no balance transfer fee, i've also arranged for them totake the store card debt. That give cap 1 card with around £900 when you include interest up to transfer date on 0% until at least november. I'm sure the advisertold my 09 but they are advertising on their site that its 08.

£110 a month should be quite comfortable i think. This is my concern, I want to be pushed not comfy because if i am comfortable i take my eye off the ball and end up dropping it

I feel ineed to start putting a little away per week/month to give a little cushion for the start of 2009

Oh I should add tv HPhas 14 payments to go and the settlement figure is £2.37 less than we would pay paying each payment on time so i'm refusing to clear it andinstread they can wait. I might switch the cash into another account and let then take each payment monthly.

    Sofa has around £700 outstanding

Hi. Congratulations on your pregnancy, I am also pregnant, currently 36+4, I've been saving £2 coins and 20p's and putting any loose change into a money box for when I'm not able to work (am self-employed to sell on Ebay) it will all help towards paying something off what I owe eventually. I've had to cut right back on my listings, was also listing lots of second hand and unwanted items on another Ebay ID to get some extra money but have stopped that.

I'm lucky that my bf pays all the bills etc out of his bank account so I only really have to pay my credit card bills when they come in (will have to pay the minimum on them until a week or two after baby is born and then I can get back to Ebaying).

I get £121 something Child Benefit as I have two children already so that will go up when this baby comes and I get £41.76 a month CTC at the moment.

I find that going to the Post Office every day to post Ebay parcels means I spend more money as I have to go to Iceland for milk, bread and any other essentials so stopping Ebaying now means I won't be tempted to buy things I don't need.

Hope you manage OK on your Maternity Pay, I haven't claimed yet on my Self Employed NI Contributions but must ring them up, not sure when I can claim from or for how long.

Ithink you can claim maternity allowance for 39 weeks and you can claim at the earliest 29 weeks pregnant.

Pixie, when your wages go down your CTC should go up, double check with them.
