I just want to get a general consensus from mortgage advisers on this forum. I recently completed my cemap qualification am looking for work as a trainee mortgage adviser. Now, considering the current climate is it worth me looking for a trainee position just right now, shall I leave it for a while or carry on regardlesst. How are you guys fairing under the present credit situation.

I do mortgages but only as part of my normal IFA role. Things have gone a bit quiet for me on the mortgage front in terms of purchases, but I still have a fairly large remortgage book for regular clients.I am an Independent Financial Adviser
