Tesco at Old Swan Liverpool were selling Linksys@home Wireless B+G adaptors for PCs, both USB and PCMCIA Cardbus versions for £12.49 which is half price compared to their previous price.
They also sell a Wireless router with built in DSL modem or a wireless cable router. It supports 802.11B+G and has one RJ45 ethernet port which can be used also. I can't remember the price for this though - about £50.

http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/ is the best place for that sort of thing in my experience. Wireless networks can be difficult to set up and quality counts when it comes to signal strength and security. Worth checking the reviews out on broadband buyer before buying anything I 'd recommend0

Anyone knows if it is nation-wide ?0

I have seen the product on sale in Liverpool Old Swan and Coventry Big new Express on Crosspoint Business Park. It was not in stock at Crewe Tesco so I guess only available in larger stores. Also could not find it for sale online.Wealthsaving - a way of life?0 -

Linksys is the consumer arm of Cisco so I would think quality should be OK.0 -

these people are a shop and are only going to recommend stuff they sell.i have 2 machines on my network running pci wireless cards that cost half the price of the cheapest on this site, both have excellent signal strength and were set up in minutes. Just because something is a name you have heard of it is not always the best, as a friend of mine found when he bought linksys and tried to get it to work in his brand new house that has more metal than brick in the walls. poor signal strength, changed it for a netgear ,no probs since.Regards
