After reading the GHd thread, i decided to buy some of these instead as they have such good reviews, but they were still about £75 in most stores. But on Gordons Chemist online they are down to £39.99!!

I bought these just before christmas and would also recommend them.

I find though that on my top layer of hair i have to reduce the heat setting to lower as my hair goes static and sticks out! but now ive worked that out i no longer have a fringe that is horizontal..

This is a different model to the one i posted about though.
Amazon do the one i mentioned, which is sligtly lower in price than before, but still over £50

I bought these off Amazon a few months ago when they dropped the price to £39.99. They really are great and it handy having the heat protective bag so that once you are finished with them you can pop them away straight away and not have to leave them out while they are still hot. They heat up riddiculously quck as well!

Typical.. i got an email yesterday eveing saying that their suppliers had sent them the wrong stock, so they were offering me the 2085U one.
I emailed them back to ask if the specs were the same, and apparently the only difference is the colour and instead of a heatproof bag & mat, you just get the mat.
Has anyone else had this email?
The CS guy was very helpful, and reduced the price, so decided to get them anyway.

When placing your order with us, we had advertised the straightener as the 2088U Elegance model.
We have now been supplied with stock of the 2085U model.
