How to claim TAX back on interest, when classed as nonresident for tax purposes! HELP

Hello to all,

I have currently been working out of the country for over a full tax year, and i am classed as a non resisdent fro tax purposes, i.e. NT coding. I have paid tax on all my money in the uk fro the year. Please could someone help me on the process i have to go through to claim the tax back, where do i start, what do i need to fill in and who do i need to contact. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    As you have NT coding, I assume you work for a UK employer. If this is the case, you make your claim to the tax office which deals with your employer.
    I am not sure if you need to self assess to make the claim or if a simple letter, enclosing your tax vouchers will suffice. If no one else on here knows, then a quck call to your tax office will tell you.

    As you are asserting non-UK residence I recommend filing a return claiming this status.
