Serps/2nd state pension question

I don't know if anyone can answer this one but here goes.(Maybe better answered under benefits maybe).

Within the next few weeks I will be receiving my private pension and my company pension and also the opted out of serps element. This is not a massive amount in total so I'm trying to get abetter idea of my total gains at 65.

I am 55 at present and have just been retired by the company, (well I will be on the 3oth April), on grounds of ill health.

I had a pension forcast a few years ago which gave me a figure for the 2nd state pension. This was after I had opted out so was for the earnings prior to opting out. I remained "out" untill I converted to an anuity in Dec last year.

I am presently on incapacity benefit which I'm sure will be dissolved to zero£ by the time I receive the final pension figures.

I do expect to remain entitled to IB although I will receive no monies.

My question is will I receive any form of credit towards 2nd state pension for the remaining years between now and 65, if I retain this entitlement?

I already have the reqd 30 years for the basic one.

Cheers:beer:

No you need to be employed to get this pension (not self employed).
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
