Hi there,
My father-in-law told me about this site it is great, basically sign up to the newsletter and everyday you will be emailed with a particular peice of software available to download free for 24hrs only. Then it will go back up to it's original price.
The software is like the stuff you see on the cover disc if many mainstream magazines and some of it is particularly useful.
Have a look, what have you got to lose, apart from a gig or two:rotfl:

From McAfee Site Advisor:
"In our tests, we found downloads on this site that some people consider adware, spyware or other potentially unwanted programs."
However, some comments on the McAfee site say that the programs are fine.

*BUMP*
Just so no one misses out. Thanks for the McAfee tip Greater! Shows quite an in-depth review, thankfully, as you say, the downloads do not appear to have any issues as regards to viruses or anything, it just appears it is probably some of the links/ads they have on the site. So as long as everyone just watches what they click on the site all should be well.
