Remortgage due but on BSIF house

My halifax deal is about to run out and I want to look around at the latest deals. This would be ok if the house was of standard contruction but unfortunately its a 'BSIF steel framed and clad walls with a tiled roof'. Apart from halifax who else offers mortgages for this style of house

Thanks

Dave

Halifax will offer you a new deal and so there is no need to move lenders. You may save a little on moving but you will be restricted on lenders. Also if the mortgage is a small mortgage then differences in interest rates won't make a big impact on monthly payments

Unless someone has done a mortgage on one of these properties recently, it involves looking at the best buy deals and then calling the lenders to see if they will lend on them, so could involve quite alot of work
