Over cooked chicken!!!!

Oops, I put a small chicken in the oven to cook for tomorrow's tea and I completely forgot about it!! 
It's been in about two and a half hours on gas 7!!! It's definitely cooked!!!!
Can't believe I forgot it was in the oven! Looks like I'll be needing plenty of gravy tomorrow to stop us choking on the dry old bird!:rotfl:
Never mind, I'll just use it up with different sauces - I refuse to let it go to waste!

You could try shredding it down (a lot) and making a soup.
Melt a bit of butter in a pan, and lightly fry off a chopped onion, a chopped carrot, and a cubed up spud or two. Throw in the chicken, then about a pint of stock, herbs, salt and pepper and leave for an hour. The liquid should soften the meat again.... that with crusty bread? Food of the gods.Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
