Bloomers Confused

Sorry for being thick but can anyone tell me -- can I use a credit card to pay off a bank overdraft which is £2, 750 and costing @ £40 a month interest.

Can I ring my Natwest Bank and say I want to use a *** 0 per cent credit card to pay this off. Is that allowed?

I would rather use the £40 to go to paying the amount off - which is my aim.

Please give me advice

I'll be blooming pleased if you do

NatWest won't care where the money comes from if you are paying off an overdraft. Most credit cards however won't allow you to do a balance transfer to a bank account. Some will (MBNA & Virgin I think) but you may get charged a fee.

You are best posting this on the Credit Cards board.
