I'm leaving the car at home today, I'll be walking to work, i work at 2 different offices during the week, one i can walk to... so for the next 2 days its walking :D

Food wise, erm it's coffee and ciggies for breakfast, i know i should do brekkie but its just not me..

Tip of the day (i think we should have one of these)
    White Bread bad, Rivita good
    If you struggle to do 5 a day fruit and veg, then build it up, 1, 2 , 3 , 4 ,5 a day
but smoothies are good, just check the side of packs, it will say how many a day they are. (most products will show this)
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

    hey jojo (and the rest)

You've inspired me. No more messing around and eating chocolate in secret whilst pretending to the world I'm being good. Fresh start today. Am in NY in June - so no bikini opportunities - but it would be good to loose as much of that stone as possible (I was there 18 months ago but a stone lighter)

Best of luck to all of you

mishelley - yoga worked for me. I went to classes and went I felt like I knew a few 'poses' and exercises I did it at home - 20 mins will make you feel better.

As for really loosing weight through exercise - Dancing is the best and really good social fun. All sorts, sizes and ages go. Try a local Modern Jive or Ceroc class - they have beginner lessons every class night. But yes it does mean you need to find the time at least once a week

I'll join since I've been a bit lazy recently and could probably do with the added support.

    Personal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.
  • I'll join in too!
i need to lose 2 stone for beach holiday in august.
and hopefully a stone for a holiday in june to finland (no beaches but saunas)
i'm following ww as i've done this in the past and it worked for me. have you done it before jojo1969?
hope everyone has a good day today!

wi was expecting pics, too ;-)

walking to/from work helps- no excuses with better weather coming!
also, while at work, use the stairs rather than the lift.

and chocolate calories DO count, when you're standing up when eating it!

I don't want to put my bikini on because I know it doesn't fit anymore. Or my workout gear :o

And swimming is probably the exercise that I most enjoy. I'm stuck in a bizarre trap of not wanting to buy a new costume because I'm in denial and not being able to fit into my current costume because I'm so lazy these days.

I'm only one size bigger but I feel rubbish.

I like the foodfocus website, I've joined that and will put in what I eat for a start, see just how bad I am!

I'll join too. I would like to loose a stone and a half. I do a lot of walking with dogs, and intend to start jogging at the weekend, weather permitting. My daughter does slimming world diet and I usually eat the same as her, but my downfall is red wine at the weekends
    Good luck everyone.
