I had never lost weight since littleburd but since healthier eating and regular brisk walks (3 or 4 a week for an hour and a bit) I've lost almost a stone in a month. I like a hic... beverage of a night and don't give it up but when eating and weighing less I can't drink too much anyhoo! Never mind the extra weights - the babies in the buggy is extra enough! Good luck. X0

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to the Health board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
You'll find several threads over there about losing weight, exercise, etc.
But do it now, it's no fun when the 'babies' are 16, 18, and 20 ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Burpees see this link http://www.rosstraining.com/articles/burpeeclip.htm
Yes you could trip, so it's better to be careful.
For a really good workout, do circuit training. Try the following;
1 minute non stop (for as many as you can do) squats, press ups and burpees, once you have done all 3 exercises do 45 seconds of all 3 again, then do 30 seconds of all 3 again then do 15 seconds of all 3 again.
Rest as needed, but keep it short if possible. Will definately be a very good workout, and you'll feel very fatigued!
Burpees:eek: could never do them:rotfl:0 -
