Don't know about internal use but Aloe Vera is fantastic on burns. I'm very accident prone and am always burning myself whilst cooking. I still take the heat out of the burn with cold running water but after that use a thick layer of Aloe Vera. I find it takes the pain out of the burn and it heals much more quickly. You need a good quality though - a proper high percentage Aloe Vera gel and not a cosmetic type brand.0
