rings - D shaped/Court/flat court??

Apart from the price is there any actual difference between the different types of rings available. The court claims to be curved for comfort where are the d shaped are flat but d shaped rings are nearly a third of the price! I would say the inside of my engagement ring is flat inside and it is comfortable. (I have podgy fingers so the womens rings in the shop are always way to small so I have to order before I can try one my size - one foul woman told me I had water retention in my fingers and said I obviously had arthritus! I only wanted my finger measured not a doctors appointment!) Anyway is it worth forking out more money for the court comfort fit?

Comfort is everything in a wedding ring - you're going to be wearing it for hopefully 50 odd years, so even 3 times the price makes it a fraction of a penny per day!
Sorry to hear you encountered such a cow when you had your fingers measured...I know how you feel: I have wide feet despite being small and slim, and I once got "ohhh you've got REALLY wide feet....I think you'll have to go to a special orthopaedic footwear shop!!"0 -
ack, people in shops are vile sometimes aren't they! I have extremely fat fingers (2 sizes bigger than OH's lol) I've had to pay £10 extra for my size to be ordered in. I think if the ring is not so thick the edges are digging in your fingers, it doesn't matter what shape you go for. In fact, I don't even know what shape ours are, we liked the style and we liked the fact they're half the budget... That's why we bought them!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
