Its probably been covered on here, but as usual the search function on this forum is playing silly sods. What I wanted to know is can I have a 0845/0898 type number routed to either my home phone or Mobile, obviously I need to keep my own numbers for friends and family, but would be nice to make a few quid, from the companies that ring me.

Yes! You can buy or get free a number of routeable numbers. I have an old 0870 number I give to companies that supply something to me. I can choose when to recieve calls etc. I recieve no money from this though
In terms of making money - most cost quite a bit to set-up and a monthly charge so unless you recieve a lot of calls you'll be out of pocket.
You can get numbers free but with no income.0 -

I've never used them myself but on http://www.homebusinessuk.co.uk they've got ads that say you can earn 1p a minute for all calls you receive with an 0870 number. They also had free premium rate numbers where you can set a higher ratebest wins to date-£500, 48 theme park tickets, Holiday to Italy+£250, Venus makeover package, laptops, pro-audio gear, £500 B&Q, £1500 Gucci bag, £1000 Maplin0
