Sorry if this has been psted before but last night at my local tesco superstore in Thanet they had a huge bin of DVDs for 97p. They are not chart ones or anything but decent enough films to keep kids occupied whilst our british summer continues along its present course!
tesco also have VAT free on CD's, DVD's at the moment as well so we saved even more. Our smaller tesco didn't have them so I wonder if it is only at the superstores.

I got a ton of these in Tesco in Ashford, there were some good ones such as Night of the Living Dead, A Little Princess (Shirley Temple), some cheesy Hasselhoff films and lots of animations.0

Actually, these 97p DVDs are now only 82p due to the Tesco VAT Free offer currently running on DVDs. My lad bought one tonight with his own temporary clubcard (from the joining leaflet in store) and thus got a 100point voucher (£4 value in clubcard deals) for spending 82p. I then used the 100 points straight away alongside my 90 packs of beef / chicken. £51 spent to get £150 back in clubcard deals, plus 5p off per litre of fuel - ha ha, I love Tesco!0

Just drove 20 miles to Edinburgh to get these at Corstorphine road. It's worth point out that these are slim-case movies which were never released at a higher price.
I thought I'd pick up the looney tunes ones but found them to be the really early looney tunes cartoons which were way before my time (I'm about to turn 30). These are _not_ recent cartoons in most cases.
I thought it'd be worth pointing out, that's all. If you wouldn't normally venture into the 2.97 range, this is definitely a no-go. Otherwise they're at about the right price-point. Nice find!... and that's all I have to say about that.0
